In June 2025, Bühler + Scherler launched a groundbreaking project: Together with Noventa Consulting, the NextPM project was created to optimize and realign our project management.

The world is constantly changing; everything is getting faster and bigger. As a result, Bühler+Scherler’s projects have become increasingly extensive and continue to grow in complexity. In order to continue providing our customers with the best possible support in planning and implementing their projects, we consistently invest in our capabilities.

At the kick-off meeting in early June 2025, an interdisciplinary project team led by Luca Braun and Julian Mundl from Noventa Consulting laid the foundation for NextPM. In a first phase, the team analyzed the current situation and is now deriving a viable concept for the next steps. Even at this stage, our project management benefits from so-called quick wins, i.e., directly implemented optimizations of its processes. The new working methods should be implemented into everyday business by the end of the year at the latest.

Bühler + Scherler AG has always focused on the targeted development of its employees. Many of our technicians have developed into competent project managers over the years. At the same time, project management has undergone profound changes: In addition to technological advances, project managers today must be able to confidently combine topics such as customer communication, change management, costs, quality and deadlines.

With NextPM, we systematically support this path: through clear standards, practical tools and focused training. In this way, we invest sustainably in the development of our employees and create opportunities for growth on every career path.

Our goal is to offer our project managers and their teams a system that both relieves their workload and strengthens them, provides better controllability, and ultimately increases customer satisfaction. By continuously developing ourselves and our company, its organization, culture and methods, we are optimally prepared for the future.

With NextPM, we are creating the foundation for this and ensuring that we can continue to plan projects precisely, implement them reliably, and create sustainable benefits for our customers.
