The Arbon site has now officially been part of Bühler + Scherler AG for one year. How would you briefly summarize this time?
The first year was intensive, instructive, and characterized by many changes. For me personally, it was a somewhat unusual adjustment to move from being self-employed to being employed by a company again. At the same time, it was a very positive year in which we grew together as a team and were able to successfully position the Arbon site under its new name.

What stands out most in your memory about the transition from PS Gebäudetechnik Engineering GmbH to Bühler + Scherler AG?
Above all, the openness and support within the team. Despite new structures and processes, the mutual backing was extremely valuable. This made the transition considerably easier.

What expectations did you have a year ago, and which of them have been met or perhaps even exceeded?
My expectation was that the transition for all employees could be completed without great effort or dissatisfaction. I also noticed that, despite the challenging market situation in sales, the strong Bühler + Scherler name had a positive impact on acquisition.

What were the biggest challenges for you in the first year, and how did you overcome them as a team?
The biggest challenge was continuing ongoing projects while integrating into Bühler + Scherler. Through good communication, flexibility, and teamwork, we were able to successfully master this phase together.

Can you give us a brief insight into some of the most important projects you have handled in Arbon in your first year under Bühler + Scherler?
We had the opportunity to support several demanding projects in the field of electrical planning. Among others, the new Lerchen school building in Arbon, the new Talenticum school building in Romanshorn, as well as various residential construction projects for HRS.

If we talk to you again in a year’s time, what would you like to be able to report?
About further developed structures, new exciting projects, and how the Arbon site has established itself as an integral part of Bühler + Scherler.

Was there a moment in the past year that you are particularly proud of?
Yes, the moment when we realized that we were no longer “in transition” but had truly arrived – as a team and as a site.
