Retrofit Rivella Administration Building

The Sauter automation stations that were used in the Rivella AG administration building are outdated and have already been discontinued, meaning there is no longer any possibility of replacement. During the conversion phase, the existing central units in the primary systems were replaced with Beckhoff controllers and the gCLOUD control system was set up in parallel with the existing control system. The conversion was completed within several months without affecting the employees present in terms of control and comfort. The technical staff fully monitored the conversion on both control systems until the existing system was completely replaced. The previous shading system was replaced by a KNX solution and the room automation was converted from decentralized room controllers to a central floor unit. As the room controllers were so specific that there were no effective 1:1 replacement options, this solution was prioritized.
